Lead Service Line Identification Project

The Northwestern Water and Sewer District will soon start project to identify lead service lines in McComb.  At this time, The District will investigate 100 homes in the Village.  While it will not impact water access, this project involves excavating water service lines to identify their material.  The awarded contractor is B Hillz Excavating, and they will perform this $50,000 project.   If The District identifies any services made of lead, a future project to replace those lines will be designed.  Homeowners impacted by the project will be sent a letter with more information.
