Parks and Amenities

The Village of McComb is very fortunate to have one of the best public parks in Hancock County. The Park is located on the east side of the Village on State Route 186.

There are four baseball fields. Field # 3 is affixed with lights for night games and events. In addition there are five shelter houses which are available for public use/reservation. There is a small fee for reservations of the shelter houses and ball fields. The park also is home to one batting cage, two tennis courts, and a
basketball court. All aforementioned amenities are free and open to the public on a first come first served basis.

The two reservoirs located at the park are open for public fishing. Boats with electric motors are permitted. You may sled the slopes of the reservoirs in the winter. Ice fishing is NOT permitted on either reservoir.

The public swimming pool is a zero-entry swimming pool with splash pad and water toys, and one water slide. Memberships are available for families or there is available day use fees.

A lighted football field is located at the McComb School campus.

There are two soccer fields located at the McComb Church of Christ for public use.

The Village has installed walking / fitness trails that wind from the front of the park around the base of both reservoirs. Additional trails have been installed to the south of the larger reservoir and marked. Park benches installed along the trail system are for public use.

A 36 hole Disc Golf course is installed that traverses throughout the back areas of the park.
